Build an order in steps

One step at a time, with a progress bar, Back and Next.

1. Add a Step field

   Open the form in UI & Data and choose Fields. Choose Display, then step, and label it with the step’s name, here Size. Everything after a Step field, until the next one, is on that step.

2. Add the step’s fields

   Add what that step asks: here a Size choice, serves 8, 16, 30, 50 and 100, each with a picture (see Show choices as pictures).

3. More steps

   Add a step for each part of the order: here Flavors (cake flavor and frosting) and Your details (name and phone). Fields before the first Step field make the first step, named for the first field.

4. One step at a time

   Open the form from Sharing, Open Link. Customers see one step, with Step 1 of 4 and every step’s name along the top.

5. Back and Next

   Next goes on (it checks that step’s required fields first); Back goes to the step before, with everything chosen still there. Steps already done can be tapped in the bar.

6. Submit at the end

   Submit appears on the last step, once they’ve been through the rest. In the editor you always see every field, with a line where each step starts.
